‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’ Exclusive Clip: Something’s Wrong With The Sunflowers

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines

Lindsey Anderson Beer makes her feature film directorial debut with Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, a new take on a novel that has burrowed into my brain since I read it years ago. This time, Beer takes us back in time to when a young Jud Crandall learns the terrifying history of his hometown.

Read the full synopsis:

In 1969, a young Jud Crandall dreams of leaving his hometown of Ludlow, Maine behind, but soon discovers sinister secrets buried within and is forced to confront a dark family history that will forever keep him connected to Ludlow. Banding together, Jud and his childhood friends must fight an ancient evil that has gripped Ludlow since its founding, and once unearthed has the power to destroy everything in its path.

Beer, who wrote the script with Jeff Buhler, based the film on the untold chapter from Stephen King’s terrifying novel Pet Sematary. This prequel tries to bridge past and present with an origin story about the ancient horrors in Ludlow.

In our exclusive clip, Manny, a childhood friend of Jud’s, and his sister Donna notice something strange is happening in their sunflower field…

Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LaBlanc, and Samantha Mathis star in the film with Pam Grier and David Duchovny.

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines premieres exclusively on Paramount+ on October 6, 2023.
