“What if Denzel Washington was Batman?”: It’s The #1 Franchise On Hulu Charts

It seems none of us want to end our summer fling with Denzel Washington thrillers. His movies are still dominating the charts, and society is better off for it. This is part of the reason that The Equalizer 2 (and the original film) is hanging out on the Hulu Charts today.

Rotten Tomatoes Synopsis

“If you have a problem and there is nowhere else to turn, the mysterious and elusive Robert McCall will deliver the vigilante justice you seek. This time, however, McCall’s past cuts especially close to home when thugs kill Susan Plummer — his best friend and former colleague. Now out for revenge, McCall must take on a crew of highly trained assassins who’ll stop at nothing to destroy him.”

The Equalizer 2 was directed by Antoine Fuqua. It was written by Richard Wenk. The script is based on the series of the same name created by Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim. The movie stars Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Bill Pullman, Melissa Leo, and the late Orson Bean.

Fans are clearly losing it over the Denzel Washington of it all. However, other fans are geeking over seeing him and Pedro Thee Pascal share scenes in this action-packed sequel.

Re-watching Equalizer 1 & 2 before seeing the new one. I've just realised that Denzel is basically a one man A-Team in these movies. In the second one he even wears Hannibal-like disguises!

Reviewing Equalizer 2 later.

Denzel giving Ashton Saunders "the talk" in that dilapidated hallway was pretty damn good. Easily Saunders best part in that film, where Denzel chews him out like he's getting off from a 9 to 5.

The Equalizer 2 is a serviceable sequel elevated by the great Denzel Washington

A film that struggles to juggle multiple plot lines and you can see the villain coming from a mile away. Still, there is lots of heart and the action is again top-notch

And 3 Wasn’t Bad. It Was A Nice Ending Touch To The Trilogy. They Could Have Wrote In A Little More Resistance To RM. I Did Like The Re-Pairing Of Denzel And Dakota Fanning Tho. That Was A Nice Story Within The Story Itself.
