Peacock is going all out again for the Halloween season. Their September line-up is the stuff horror cinephiles dream of. However, the movie that made us stop the presses is a thriller featuring the one and only Denzel Washington. If you have been waiting to cross The Bone Collector off your Denzel Thrillers bingo card this year, then now is the time!

“Policewoman Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie) is in hot pursuit of a serial murderer whose calling card is a small shard of bone extracted from each of his victims. Unable to decipher the cryptic clues the killer leaves behind at the scene of the crime, Amelia calls upon quadriplegic forensic criminology expert Lincoln Rhyme (Denzel Washington) to help. With Amelia acting as Rhyme’s able-bodied go-between, the pair piece together disparate clues, hoping they will learn who the next victim is.”

The Bone Collector was directed by Phillip Noyce. It was written by Jeremy Iacone. The movie is based on a novel of the same name written by Jeffery Deaver. The cast includes Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Queen Latifah, Michael Rooker, Mike McGlone, Luis Guzmán, Leland Orser, and Ed O’Neill.
Fans are still upset sequels were never made. They want more Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie solving crimes together. We all want that if we’re being honest with ourselves.
