Writer Luke Genton said of the film:

“Colton and I were fascinated by the supposedly true story of a man who was luring women out of their houses with a recording of a crying infant. The idea stuck in my mind and was the jumping-off point for the script. We wanted to put the audience in Charlie’s shoes. After all, who wouldn’t be tempted to go outside and check on a baby? Having the film premiere at Popcorn Frights is very exciting and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Kathleen Kenny and Maria Olsen star in the film.

Sorry, Charlie makes its virtual premiere at Popcorn Frights on August 12, 2023.
