A gripping crime thriller has Twitter in a chokehold. This 2018 movie, with a star-studded cast, is inspired by a true story. The Mule might’ve slid from the charts, but people have yet to stop talking about this Bradley Cooper project.

Rotten Tomatoes Synopsis

“Broke, alone, and facing foreclosure on his business, 90-year-old horticulturist Earl Stone takes a job as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. His immediate success leads to easy money and a larger shipment that soon draws the attention of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates. When Earl’s past mistakes start to weigh heavily on his conscience, he must decide whether to right those wrongs before law enforcement and cartel thugs catch up to him.“

The Mule was directed by Clint Eastwood. It was written by Nick Schenk. The story was adapted from The New York Times article “The Sinaloa Cartel’s 90-Year-Old Drug Mule” by Sam Dolnick. The movie stars Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Peña, Dianne Wiest, Alison Eastwood, Taissa Farmiga, and Ignacio Serricchio.

Most fans can’t get over the performances from the stacked cast. Twitter seems obsessed with the acting in this dramatic thriller.
