New NSFW ‘Terrifier’ Red Band Trailer May Make You Lose Your Breakfast

We all remember the first time we watched Damien Leone’s twisted cult classic Terrifier. News of the disturbing carnage of new slasher icon Art the Clown spread like wildfire. But, our favorite killer clown’s original massacre was never shown on the big screen. Until now. Originally reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Dread, a horror label under Epic Pictures and sister company to Dread Central, has partnered with Iconic Events to bring the original Terrifier to theaters this summer. And to celebrate, we’re debuting the delightfully repulsive new red band teaser trailer, created especially to get you excited about watching all your favorite kills in a crowded movie theater.

To refresh your memory, Terrifier follows a group of young women on Halloween night who are stalked, terrorized, and brutally murdered by Art the Clown (played by David Howard Thornton in a career-defining performance).

Between Art the Clown’s absurdity and the film’s brutality, Terrifier garnered cult status and finally, in 2022, it received its highly anticipated sequel Terrifier 2. The film earned over $15.1 million globally at the box office. And just this week, it was announced that Terrifier 3 was on the horizon with a reported seven-figure budget.
