‘Kids Vs. Aliens’ Trailer Unleashes Nasty Extraterrestrial Mayhem

Kids Vs. Aliens

Canadian filmmaker Jason Eisener is known for directing films like Hobo With A Shot Gun as well as executive producing indie hits such as Turbo Kid. But, he also directed the “Slumber Party Alien Abduction” segment in V/H/S/2, which, looking back at it, may have also been a proof of concept for his new feature film Kids Vs. Aliens. This time, kids are fighting for their lives in a gory and neon nostalgia-filled creature feature.

Read the full synopsis below:

All Gary wants is to make awesome home movies with his best buds. All his older sister Samantha wants is to hang with the cool kids. When their parents head out of town on Halloween weekend, an all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night.

Now check out the nasty new trailer:

In an interview with Dread Central during Fantastic Fest 2022, Eisener said of the film,

“There is so much of myself and my own childhood experiences that are in [Kids Vs. Aliens]. Every shot and every moment in the film has a lot of energy and there’s a gag almost in every single scene that we shot in the film. Every bit of it was so fun.”

Dominic Mariche, Phoebe Rex, Calem MacDonald, Asher Grayson Percival, and Ben Tector star in Kids Vs. Aliens. Eisener co-wrote the script with John Davies.

Kids Vs. Aliens comes to theaters, digital, and VOD on January 20, 2023.
