Horror loves a good haunted or cursed geometric object. Just think of the Lament Configuration in Hellraiser. A simple yet ornately decorated box held an incomprehensible number of hellish, and sensual, possibilities. Now, director Scooter Corkle is tackling the subgenre with his new film The Friendship Game.
The Friendship Game “follows a group of teens as they come across a strange object that tests their loyalties to each other and has increasingly destructive consequences the deeper into the game they go.”
We scored an exclusive look at the film, featuring the strange object that demands just a little bit of blood.
Peyton List (“Cobra Kai”), Brendan Meyer (“The OA”), Kelcey Mawema (To All the Boys I’ve Loved franchise), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (“The Flash”), and Dylan Schombing (“Watchmen”) star in The Friendship Game. Damien Ober wrote the script.
