‘The Munsters’: Rob Zombie Reveals Netflix Chart Ranking For New Film

The Munsters

Now that The Munsters has finally been unleashed, we’ve been curiously awaiting how mainstream audiences would react. Turns out there’s a whole lot of interest in Rob Zombie’s colorful new prequel film. The director has taken to Instagram to reveal where his latest project has landed on the Netflix movie charts, and it turns out, it cracked the top five! This feels like a big accomplishment for a fairly small-scale film, all things considered.

In his all-new vision of Munsters-madness, director Rob Zombie is taking audiences back in time to when Herman and Lily first met. The project is billed as “the greatest love story ever told,” which is certainly not a slogan we’d ever think a Zombie film would be associated with. Check out how the new movie ranks on Netflix with the following post shared by the House of the 1000 Corpses director:

The Munsters showcases an ensemble of familiar Zombie-land faces, including Sheri Moon Zombie, Daniel Roebuck, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Dee Wallace and more. The original sitcom stars Beverly Owen and Butch Patrick also make cameo appearances in the film.

The cast of The Munsters 1964 sitcom featured Fred Gwynne, Yvonne de Carlo, Beverly Owen, Butch Patrick, and Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster. Together, the group played the average nuclear American family. But twist—they were a clan of monsters!

Updates for the new film have been coming in hot ever since production began in Budapest in 2021. You can check out all of the behind-the-scenes mayhem by clicking right here.
