‘Bitch Ass’ Trailer: There’s A New Black Slasher Villain On The Block

Bitch Ass

Michael Myers, Freddie Krueger, and Jason Voorhees are some of the horror greats. They have two things in common: they have a taste for blood and they’re all white. This is the case for more iconic slasher villains, with the exception of Candyman. Now, director Bill Posley is bringing a breath of fresh air to the subgenre with his film Bitch Ass.

Read the full synopsis below:

Bitch Ass blends comedy, horror, and social commentary, that tells the story of a gang initiation gone wrong when a group of four recruits break into a house of horror and are forced by Bitch Ass to play deadly games for their lives. Win and you live—lose and you die.

In her review out of Panic Fest, Dread Central’s Mary Beth McAndrews wrote:

A low budget doesn’t stop Bill Posley from creating the next big slasher villain with complex motivations and disgusting methods of torture.

Teon Kelley (Tyler), Tunde Laleye (Black as Night), Me’lisa Sellers (Split), Tony Todd (Candyman), and Sheaun McKinney (“The Neighborhood”) star in the film.

Quiver Distribution releases Bitch Ass in theaters on October 14th.
