‘He’s Watching’ Trailer: Terrifying Found Footage Horror Gets Personal
Jacob Aaron Estes, director of Mean Creek, is getting a little more personal in his found footage film He’s Watching. The film was made in collaboration with his wife Gretchen Lieberum and children Serena Esters and Lucas Steel Estes at the height of the COVID-19 lockdown. For the Estes family, it was a way to avoid the boredom and monotony of being trapped inside. The result, at least according to the trailer, is terrifying, claustrophobic, and upsetting.
Read the synopsis below:
When happy-go-lucky siblings Iris and Lucas (playing fictionalized versions of themselves) are left alone while their parents recover from an illness, a series of playful pranks they play on each other escalate when they start receiving unsettling images and videos on their phones. With the incoming messages becoming increasingly nightmarish, Iris and Lucas realize something sinister has taken root in their home.
