‘The Munsters’: Full Trailer & Release Date Are Unleashed For Rob Zombie’s Wholesome Adaptation

At long last, the full trailer for Rob Zombie’s adaptation of The Munsters has arrived. And with it comes answers to some of our burning questions about this all-new movie event. Not only does the full-length promo reveal that the project is a prequel of sorts, but it also highlights a September 2022 release. Seems like The Munsters are arriving just in time for spooky season, and we absolutely cannot wait.

While the tone of the new trailer is completely in line with the feel of the original 1964 CBS television series, there are some obvious differences. First and foremost: no kids! The trailer for Rob Zombie’s film reveals a specific timeline in the marriage of Lily and Herman, and it’s shaping up to be one hell of a romance. Seems like we can expect a wholesome love story for the ages. And what else could we have ever imagined coming from wholesome king, Rob Zombie?

The original cast of The Munsters featured Fred Gwynne, Yvonne de Carlo, Beverly Owen, Butch Patrick, and Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster. Together, the group played the average nuclear American family. But twist—they were a clan of monsters!
