Judging by the popularity of Evil Dead at the box office this past weekend, one thing is for sure… Horror is hotter than ever. As a result everyone’s looking to capitalize on it as much as possible. Including Netflix, which is already spinning off “Hemlock Grove” in the most unlikely of places…
Who would have guessed that “Hemlock Grove” would be adjacent to an evil place which you need explicit directions to get to? What was once a playground for innocent children is now a cesspool of horror, haunted by a giant blue menace. A force so deadly and crazed you’ll find yourself cringing at the thought of binge-viewing all of its one… two… three…. three-episode arc! Ha ah ahhhh.

From executive producer Eli Roth and developed by Brian McGreevy (who wrote the novel on which it’s based) and Lee Shipman, “Hemlock Grove” stars Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Bill Skarsgård, Landon Liboiron, Penelope Mitchell, and Freya Tingley.
Synopsis:
“Hemlock Grove” is a riveting one-hour murder mystery that revolves around the residents of a former Pennsylvania steel town. When 17-year-old Brooke Bluebell is brutally murdered, any of Hemlock’s peculiar inhabitants – or killer creatures – could be suspects.
