‘The Munsters’: Rob Zombie Now Casts A Werewolf In His Upcoming Reboot

Things are getting a little bit hairy up on Mockingbird Lane today, as director Rob Zombie posts the latest Munsters casting news to his Instagram.  The rocker turned family-friendly filmmaker has posted a colorful new shot of actor Tomas Boykin decked out as Lester, Lily Munster’s werewolf brother. The all-new colorful shot features Boykin in a snazzy expensive suit and face full of fur. Uncle Lester (also known as Lester Dracula) was originally played by Irwin Charone in The Munsters back in the 1960s.

Fans of Rob Zombie’s filmography may remember Tomas Boykin appearing in 3 From Hell. Boykin played the character Derek Zoom, “a vocal Spaulding supporter.” Now Boykin is back, and he’s bringing the comedy chops. Zombie makes it a point to mention that Lester will make us “howl with laughter.” Boykin is only the latest casting news to surface from the hotly anticipated new film. Other recent additions include Cassandra Peterson, Jeremy Wheeler, and Dee Wallace.
