‘The Spine Of Night’: Ultra Violent Animated Fantasy To Premiere On Shudder Next Month [Trailer]

The time has finally come. The Spine of Night is seeing its release and the world is definitely not ready. Shudder has announced that The Spine of Night will be available exclusively to stream on the platform starting on Thursday, March 24, 2022. So you better start growing out your moustache now.

In The Spine of Night, an ultra-violent fantasy epic, ancient dark magic falls into sinister hands and unleashes ages of suffering onto mankind. A group of heroes from different eras and cultures must band together in order to defeat it at all costs.

As a Shudder exclusive, the platform will be the only subscription service that will carry the film in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Philip Gelatt and Morgan Galen King directed The Spine of the Night. The film features the vocal talents of Richard E. Grant, Lucy Lawless, Patton Oswalt, Betty Gabriel, Joe Manganiello, Abby Savage, Larry Fessenden, and also Rob McClure.

Synopsis:
This epic begins many years agoAn ambitious young man steals forbidden knowledge from a sacred plant and, as he falls to its darker temptations, unleashes ages of suffering onto mankind. As his power grows over the years, there are many who stand against him. Among them are a daring tomb-robber, star-crossed lovers, a maniacal necromancer, winged assassins, and an undying guardian.
