Nowadays horror is a complex ecosystem of referrals, shares, recommendations and millions of interconnected fringe communities. But it wasn’t always that way. A lot of us can relate to starting off our journeys on horror forums, back in the early days of the Internet. Today horror fans new and seasoned have hundreds of different outlets for giving and receiving hot takes and cool recommendations. The fastest-growing hotspot for horror chats? TikTok.

A popular account on the social platform by the username LetsWatchThat went through the trouble of watching literally 1000 horror movies.

Now that she’s reached 1000, LetsWatchThat shared which titles scared her the most. While there isn’t anything here you haven’t heard of, I can’t say I blame her for these spooky choices.
