‘Scream’ Is Getting Its Own Cereal And Now We’re Scared And Hungry

What’s black and white and red all over? The new ‘Strawberries and Scream’ is the officially licensed Ghostface cereal. It’s now coming to get you in January, just in time for the next film.
The world’s first official Scream cereal will be available exclusively at Cereal Killer. The collector’s box is also the first-ever talking cereal box. Scared yet? You’ll know what your favorite scary movie is once you get your hands on a box of Scream cereal…
The Strawberries and Cream flavored marshmallow cereal clusters are packed with a strawberry and cream punch and loads of strawberry jelly bits, with whole dehydrated marshmallows. Spooky, am I right?
Cereal Killer Cafe, once a cereal lover heaven, first opened in 2014. Now closed, their ’90s-themed cafe was a true cult classic in its own right, much like Scream. And just like the slasher franchise, it can’t be kept down long.

The new Scream will feature an exciting cast of faces new and familiar, not unlike the casting setup of the criminally underrated Scream 4. New cast members include rising stars Jack Quaid (TV’s The Boys), Dylan Minette (TV’s 13 Reasons Why), and Jenna Ortega (Netflix’s upcoming Wednesday series). Legacy ensemble Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette have also signed on.
In classic Scream fashion, not much is known yet about the plot of the 2022 release. The film follows a young woman returning to her hometown, which is plagued by a series of brutal murders. Oh ya, and the slayings are all linked to a mysterious figure known only as Ghostface.
Subsequently, director credits have been assigned to Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet (Ready or Not). Original screenwriter Kevin Williamson has also returned to the role of executive producer.
