Things have been pretty quiet concerning the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s Cell, but with time comes movement and with movement comes news – or extra time in the bathroom depending on your definition of movement.
Screen Daily reports that Cargo Entertainment has attached Paranormal Activity 2‘s Tod “Kip” Williams to direct John Cusack in the Stephen King adaptation. King and The Last House on the Left writer Adam Alleca adapted the novel.
The movie centers on a graphic artist who struggles to reach his wife and son in the aftermath of a devastating pulse transmitted through a mobile phone network. And you thought AT&T had shitty reception. Look for more on this one soon!
