What We Do in the Shadows is based on the 2014 vampire-comedy film made by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The series takes on the mockumentary style of the film and follows the lives of four vampire roommates trying to make the afterlife work on Staten Island. The show features one of the funniest ensembles on television, including Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch and Matt Berry.
What We Do in the Shadows is executive produced by Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, and Paul Simms along with Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch, Eli Bush, and Stefani Robinson.
