New Cast Members Announced for PET SEMATARY Prequel

Lindsey Beer is directing a Pet Sematary prequel based on a screenplay penned by Jeff Buhler. Back in June, we reported that Jackson White was in negotiations to play a young Jud Crandall, a part played by Fred Gwynne in Mary Lambert’s Pet Sematary (1989) and John Lithgow in 2019’s Pet Sematary directed by Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter has the exclusive on a new batch of cast members for the Pet Sematary prequel (which will stream exclusively on Paramount+):

Mare of Easttown actor Jack Mulhern and Forrest Goodluck, who is known for starring opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant, have joined the untitled feature, along with Big Sky actress Natalie Alyn Lind and newcomer Isabella Star LaBlanc.

The Pet Sematary movies are based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King, first published back in 1983.
