While the producers and all parties concerned hash things out legally, Warner Brothers is already eying possible leading men for their upcoming American reboot of the Godzilla franchise. Read on for the latest.

According to Deadline, Legendary Pictures is eying Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson to star in Godzilla, the Gareth Edwards-directed reboot of the franchise based on the iconic Japanese reptile. Could the role Johnson is vying for be that of the soldier whose journey the film follows? Stay tuned, kids.

Godzilla is still on course to begin production in March with the film dated for a May 16, 2014 release.
