Original Eddie Munster actor Butch Patrick owns replicas of both the Dragula (Grampa Munster’s race car) and the Munster Koach from the series which ran from 1964 through 1966. He brings them to conventions and charity events across the country. Recently, he hooked up with shock-rocker and filmmaker Rob Zombie.

Zombie posted some video of the duo racing down the road in the Koach! Check it out below.

Rob Zombie is, of course, currently working on a reboot of The Munsters as a feature film. Sheri Moon Zombie has reportedly been cast as Lily Munster, while Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Lords of Salem, 3 from Hell) will play Herman. Daniel Roebuck and Richard Brake have also been cast in undisclosed roles along with Jorge Garcia (Lost) and Cassandra Peterson (Elvira, Mistress of the Dark).

The original Munsters featured Fred Gwynne as Herman, Yvonne De Carlo as Lily, Al Lewis as Grandpa, Butch Patrick as Eddie, and Pat Priest and Beverly Owen as Marilyn. Mel Blanc and Bob Hastings voiced The Raven. NBC tried to revive it back in 2012 with Bryan Fuller’s Mockingbird Lane with Jerry O’Connell and Portia de Rossi. But it never happened. We’ll let you know if we hear more on Zombie’s Munsters.
