Scream Factory will release John McNaughton’s The Borrower with Rae Dawn Chong on Blu-ray on August 17th. Special features are in the works. They will be announced at a later date.

McNaughton (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) directs from a screenplay written by Mason Nage and Richard Fire.
Rae Dawn Chong (Commando, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie) stars along with Don Gordon, Antonio Fargas, and Tom Towles (House of 1000 Corpses, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer).
Synopsis:
From the creative mind of director John McNaughton comes an eerie tale of an alien killer sentenced to live the rest of his days on Earth for committing unspeakable crimes. The strange insect-like creature arrives in a lone spaceship. When he arrives on our planet, his head explodes. His survival depends on his ability to find a new head for his body. Thus begins a carnage of murder that even the city’s toughest detectives Diana Pierce (Rae Dawn Chong) and Charles Kreiger (Don Gordon) are unable to solve.
