The new episode of the Dread Central Podcast Network’s Post Mortem with Mick Garris is now streaming. It features Kevin Smith and a bunch of classic new tales from the Red State filmmaker.

Smith tells Post Mortem with Mick Garris: “Just recently I watched Them on Amazon. Oh, my god. I take my hat off. It is truly horrifying. Very hard to watch. That’s how horrifying it is. Like I know a lot of people like to talk about Midsommar and Hereditary as like, ‘Oh you gotta look away’ and stuff. But with Them, there are whole storylines that, it’s not like looking away for a moment and then looking back, everything about this is horrifying. And at the same time, so much of it Is rooted in reality. That’s what made it even [scarier].“

The 1950s set season centers on a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration.
The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next-door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.
Sounds good to me! Deborah Ayorinde (Girls Trip), Ashley Thomas (Shank), Alison Pill (AHS: Cult), Shahadi Wright Joseph (Us), Melody Hurd (Battle at Big Rock), and Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Dead Silence) star.
Little Marvin created the creepy new series. He also serves as an executive producer along with Lena Waithe, Miri Yoon, Roy Lee (IT), David Matthews, and Don Kurt. Them is a co-production from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios.
