Elizabeth Olsen Is Real-Life Axe Murderer in New HBO Max Series LOVE AND DEATH
Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision) will star in the new HBO Max limited series Love and Death. It will tell the true story of a Texas housewife Candy Montgomery (Olsen) who ax-murdered Betty Gore in 1980. David E. Kelley (Lake Placid) will write the series.

The series revolves around two church-going couples, enjoying small-town family life in Texas until somebody picks up an ax.
It’s inspired by the book Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs. And a collection of articles from Texas Monthly (Love & Death In Silicon Prairie, Part I & II). Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies, The Undoing) and Kelley executive produce with Per Saari, Glatter, Scott Brown, Megan Creydt, Matthew Tinker, Michael Klick, and also Helen Verno. Lionsgate TV is the studio.
Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland, Mad Men) directs.
