Clive Barker Opens Up About His Coma on Tomorrow’s New Episode of POST MORTEM WITH MICK GARRIS

Tomorrow’s episode of Post Mortem with Mick Garris will be historic for several reasons. It’ll mark the podcast’s 100th episode and its first under the DREAD Podcast Network’s banner. It’ll also feature a rare interview with horror icon Clive Barker, the creator of horror’s Hellraiser franchise!

While we can’t tell you everything that the two Masters of Horror talked about before tomorrow’s episode release, we can reveal that Barker will discuss his recent health issues, including time spent in a coma (an experience he describes as being “set upon by aliens”).
Last week, we announced that Post Mortem with Mick Garris, the #1 horror podcast, is now part of the DREAD Podcast Network. It joins our impressive stable of shows that already includes The Boulet Brothers: Creatures of the Night, Kim and Ket Stay Alive…Maybe (plus their original podcast/gameshow hybrid Kim and Ket’s Survive the Cellar), FriGay the 13th Horror Podcast, and Development Hell among others.
Garris is a legend from horror’s heydays. He directed films like Sleepwalkers, Critters 2, The Stand miniseries (1994), and also many others. Through Post Mortem and other endeavors, he’s remained an important and relevant force in 21st Century horror.
On May 12th, Garris will also welcome Frank Darabont to Post Mortem. Darabont has adapted three Stephen King works to film (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Mist). He also helped launch AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead.
