New Short Film THE BALLERINA Is A Twisted Look At Perfection [Video]

The new short film The Ballerina is a twisted look at perfection. The short reflects a haunting story of dance and also artistry. It’s available now on the Social House Films YouTube channel. Reminds me of a mix of the Suspiria remake and also Black Swan.

Check it out below.

The Ballerina follows a dancer haunted by her own reflection. A simple story focused on a ballerina’s training, devolves into a twisted horror spectacle as the ballerina becomes aware her reflection is not what it seems.

Valeska Miller (Electric Love, Room For Rent) stars as the tortured dancer seeking to perfect her routine. Aaron Fradkin directed. Victoria Fratz produced. Keelan Carothers handled the cinematography. Amanda MacLeod did the choreography. Sam Evenson handled the visual effects. Robot Disco Puma, Cynthia Tolson, Ryan Hommel, and also Reed Sutherland provided the music.

Social House Films has garnered attention among horror fans for their series of short horror films released throughout the pandemic on their YouTube channel. While quarantined at home, the founders, Aaron Fradkin & Victoria Fratz, produced and released over 17 short horror films.
