LOCK EVERY DOOR Series Now In the Works Based On Stephen King Recommended Novel

Yesterday we passed along a new novel recommendation from the King of Horror himself, Stephen King. It was for Lock Every Door by Riley Sager. And today we hear the book is set to become a TV series from Paramount Television.

The project is a co-production between Paramount TV and Anonymous Content.
Former True Blood executive producer/showrunner Brian Buckner will pen the pilot and executive produce. Angela Robinson will direct and also executive produce along with Michael Sugar, Ashley Zalta, Sager, David Kuhn, and Michelle Brower.
The project reunites Robinson and Buckner from True Blood. Buckner worked on all seven seasons before rising to showrunner for the final two. Robinson joined True Blood in Season 5 as co-executive producer, rising to executive producer in Season 7.
Recently The Stand and The Shining author Stephen King recommended Lock Ever Door, tweeting: “Looking for a suspense novel that will keep you up until way past midnight? Look no further than LOCK EVERY DOOR, by Riley Sager.”
Here is a synopsis for the book:

Sager is a pseudonym of a former journalist, editor, and graphic designer. Now a full-time writer, Sager also is the author of the bestselling novel Final Girls.
