After what seems like years of us talking about it, The Millennium Bug (review here) is finally ready to infest your DVD player, and we have a look at the flick’s home video cover art and a new trailer.

The Millennium Bug was picked up by Spotlight Pictures (who’ve also snagged Return of the Killer Shrews), and they’ve hooked up with Green Apple Entertainment for distribution on DVD and cable television soon.

Synopsis
When the Haskin family seeks refuge from Y2K hysteria in the isolated forests of the Sierra Diablos mountains, madness and terror find them there. Abducted by a vicious hillbilly clan, the Haskins fight for survival, but neither they nor the hillbilly Crawfords can comprehend the monstrous nightmare about to erupt from the bowels of the earth.

There’s no firm release date yet – other than “soon” as mentioned above – so keep your eyes on the official The Millennium Bug website.
