Regular readers of Dread Central know that we’re huge fans of the news and video essays produced by UK film critic and academic, Mr. H. So many of you may also recall that he’s been working on a short film, a horror/fantasy affair called Black Fields! And as of today, Mr. H has released the short film online! So watch it NOW!

Not only is the film now available to watch online, but Mr. H also produced a surprise prequel to the film, which was just released a couple of weeks back. So we’re sharing both of them below; you may choose to watch them in whatever order pleases you!
Bjorn & Frida (The Prequel to Black Fields)
Synopsis:
Shot across twelve hours in the UK, we follow our barbarian, Bjorn of Clan Mountain Black on the hunt for Frida. Crossing rivers & valleys, also trudging through the bitter forest of Frenmir, will our weary warrior succeed?
Black Fields
Synopsis:
A group of barbaric raiders, relishing in the glory of their latest bloody venture, traverse ancient and unknown lands looking for their way home. Unfortunately, this will be no simple task as there is also something, in the darkness, that even these seasoned warriors should fear.
