Netflix Reveals New LUCIFER Season 5B Release Date

Netflix announces that the second half of Lucifer Season 5 will hit on May 28th. The first half of Season 5 with Tom Ellis and Lauren German premiered on August 21, 2020.

Here’s the season 5 trailer:

Based on characters by Mike Dringenberg, Sam Kieth, and Neil Gaiman. Lucifer follows the original fallen angel, who has become dissatisfied with his life in hell. He abandons his throne and retires to L.A. Lucifer indulges in his favorite things (women, wine and song) — until a murder takes place outside of his nightclub.

For the first time in billions of years, the murder awakens something unfamiliar in Lucifer’s soul. Something eerily similar to compassion and sympathy. Lucifer then meets an intriguing homicide detective named Chloe. She appears to possess an inherent goodness — unlike the worst of humanity, to which he is accustomed. Suddenly, Lucifer starts to wonder if there is hope for his soul.
