Remember a couple of years ago when the putrid Final Destination 4 took on the ridiculous Halloween 2? Well, hunker down, kids, as another horror-themed battle royal is brewing for next April. Read on for details.
Dimension Films has moved Scary Movie 5 away from its original April 19th release date. Now it will be going head up with the Evil Dead remake on April 12th. So… who’ll be getting your money this time? Ours is on the Deadites for a clear and decisive win.
Scary Movie 5 will spoof Black Swan, Paranormal Activity, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and 127 Hours. David Zucker, who wrote and directed both Scary Movie 3 and 4, will also be returning to co-write and produce the fifth installment alongside director Malcolm Lee.
