Alright, kids! We have something special for you! Zak Bagans, host of the popular paranormal series “Ghost Adventures,” has joined forces with Lords of Acid’s Praga Khan for one of the most intriguing music releases ever produced, NecroFusion, and we have a sample for you!

In 1999, actor David Strickland, best known for his role on the NBC sitcom “Suddenly Susan,” committed suicide in room 20 of the Oasis Motel in Las Vegas. More than a decade later, Zak Bagans, the host and lead investigator for the hit TV series “Ghost Adventures,” spent hours in that very room attempting to establish communication with Strickland’s departed soul. The results of that investigation can be heard on the track “Room 20” from NecroFusion, the upcoming album from Bagans and musical partner, The Lords of Acid‘s Praga Khan, due out October 23rd.

According to Bagans, “After hours of recording sessions, I felt a sudden, intense presence of energy, and I knew I was not alone. I began communication with mind-blowing responses. One of the responses I got was when I said ‘hello’ to David, and a male voice who I believe was his, replied ‘Hi, Zak.’ I asked if he could hear me and he said ‘yea.’ At this point, I was hearing these intelligent responses, one after the other. I asked how many other spirits were present, and a female voice began shooting off numbers for me – ‘seven, eight’ – at which time I asked ‘Do you see other dead people?’ And the male voice came through again, telling me he ‘sees the Lord.’ I asked him if he knew where he was, and told me the name of the hotel… ‘Oasis.’ This was one of the most powerful spirit communication sessions I have ever conducted.

Each one of the eleven tracks on NecroFusion not only tells the story of a departed soul who, for whatever reason, has not crossed over, but includes an actual audio message from the spirit – “electronic voice phenomena,” or EVP. Armed with his SB7 Spirit Box, a recording device well-known by devotees of the “Ghost Adventures” series, Bagans has encountered inhabitants of the spirit world during his paranormal investigations, reached out to communicate with and question them, and then, when a spirit chose to communicate, he recorded the spirits’ EVPs.
