BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS Gets Scream Factory Limited Steelbook

Scream Factory will release Battle Beyond the Stars on Limited Steelbook Blu-ray on June 29th. Sporting a new 2K scan this edition is limited to 7,000.
They’re also offering an exclusive edition with an 8″ Saint-Exmin NECA figure, authorized by Sybil Danning. The figure is limited to 2,000 and available individually.

Roger Corman produced the space opera. Jimmy T. Murakami (Heavy Metal) directed from a script by John Sayles (The Howling). Richard Thomas stars with Robert Vaughn, George Peppard, John Saxon, Sybil Danning, and Darlanne Fluegel.
Shad (Thomas) scouring the cosmos to recruit mercenaries in order to save his home planet from the evil Sador (Saxon). Sador wants to dominate and also enslave the universe. Joining this “magnificent seven” of mercenaries are the deadly Gelt (Vaughn), Cowboy (Peppard), and Valkyrie Saint-Exmin (Danning).
While it currently doesn’t sport a Critics Consensus, the film sports a 45% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes.
