Earlier this week, we shared a short teaser announcing the upcoming Netflix anime series Pacific Rim: The Black. Today, we have the full freakin’ trailer (with full synopsis) to share! Give it a spin and read more about the show below.
Synopsis:
There was a time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back. That time has passed. Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.
Look for Pacific Rim: The Black to debut on Netflix beginning March 4th. The series is co-created by showrunners Craig Kyle (Thor: Ragnarok) and Greg Johnson (X-Men: Evolution).

The Pacific Rim franchise launched in 2013 with a feature film directed by Guillermo del Toro; it was followed by Pacific Rim: Uprising (directed by Steven S. DeKnight) in 2018.
