Trailer: Japanese Remake of CUBE Releasing Overseas on October 22nd

A Japanese remake of Vincenzo Natali’s Cube (released in the US in 1998) has been completed. It will arrive in theaters in Japan on October 22nd, 2021. Give the trailer and synopsis a look-see below.

Synopsis:
A mysterious cube. 6 men and women are suddenly trapped in Cube. It’s unclear where this is, why they are trapped, whether there is an exit, whether they can survive, or what the room even is.

Cube is directed by Yasuhiko Shimizu. We don’t have US release dates at this time, but we’ll keep you posted and let you know as soon as information emerges.
