GODZILLA VS KONG Director Shares Fan Reactions to New Trailer
Godzilla Vs Kong smashes into theaters and HBO Max on March 31. And today, director Adam Wingard (The Guest, You’re Next) shared a killer new video. It’s a mashup he edited of some of the best fan reactions to the new trailer.
Wingard too to Instagram to share his gratitude. He writes: “Watching the Godzilla Vs Kong trailer blow up across the internet has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I can’t thank you all enough for making the launch such a success […] BUT NOTHING has rejuvenated me more than being able to watch the excitement to the trailer online in the many fan reaction videos. This is what its all about. I may not be able to enjoy this with ya’ll in a cinema just yet. But to see and hear the excitement in these trailer reaction videos has made this long journey worthwhile. I worked with WB on creating this video mashup of fan reactions. It’s a way of showing my gratitude. And if you check out the link in my bio I personally edited seven straight minutes of my favorite trailer reactions online.”

Wingard directs Godzilla Vs Kong from a script by Eric Pearson and also Max Borenstein. Terry Rossio, Michael Dougherty, and Zach Shields penned the story based on Godzilla by Toho and King Kong by Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper.
Alexander Skarsgård stars with Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir. Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, and Brian Rogers produce.
The MPAA rated it PG-13 for “intense sequences of creature violence, destruction and brief language”. It hits theaters and HBO Max on March 31.
