Norman Reedus and Shout! Studios for a TV adaptation of Roger Corman and director Carol Frank’s cult slasher classic Sorority House Massacre.
Reedus said: “I couldn’t be more excited [about] this project…We are thrilled to revisit this cult classic and create something truly unique.”
The project will be developed with Stephen Trask (Hedwig and the Angry Inch).
Reedus will produce the series with Danielle DiGiacomo, Brent Haynes, Bob Emmer, Garson Foos, Amanda Verdon, Robert Schwartzman, and JoAnne Colonna.
Executive produced by Corman and written and directed by Frank, it follows a sorority pledge who experiences deja vu in the sorority house when a murderer begins killing the residents over Memorial Day weekend. It spawned two sequels, Sorority House Massacre II and Sorority House Massacre III: Hard to Die.
