Vera Farmiga & Adrien Brody Join COME TO DADDY Director’s New Mystery Thriller
Come to Daddy director Ant Timpson’s mystery thriller The Salamander Lives Twice has snagged Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) and Adrien Brody (Predators).
Written by Toby Harvard (The Greasy Strangler), with a story by Timpson (Turbo Kid) and Harvard, it centers on an injured man (Brody), found with an impenetrable briefcase and no memory on the shore of a remote island by Iris and her daughter (Farmiga), the last remaining members of a once-prosperous family dynasty.

The Salamander Lives Twice is produced by Emma Slade (Come to Daddy), Katie Holly (Love & Friendship) and executive produced by Timpson and XYZ, which is handling worldwide sales. The film is set to start shooting in the spring of 2021.
Come to Daddy told the tale of Norval Greenwood (Elijah Wood), a privileged man-child, arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father, who he hasn’t seen in 30 years. He quickly discovers that not only is Dad a disapproving jerk, but he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with him. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons both real and perceived in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows.
It’s available now on Blu-ray, Digital, On-Demand, and DVD co-starring Stephen McHattie, Martin Donovan, Michael Smiley, Madeleine Sami, and Simon Chin.
