Mike Flanagan Praises Netflix’s New Jaw-Dropping Horror Movie HIS HOUSE

Writer-director Remi Weekes’ debut feature film His House hit Netflix recently. And today, Doctor Sleep, Gerald’s Game, and The Haunting of Hill House director Mike Flanagan recommends you check it out.
Flanagan took to Twitter to share his enthusiasm for the new movie, writing: “HIS HOUSE on Netflix is a stunning debut. Jaw-dropping. Remi Weekes is the real deal.”
The film begins after a young refugee couple makes a harrowing escape from war-torn South Sudan and struggle to adjust to their new life in a small English town that has an unspeakable evil lurking beneath the surface.
Weekes directs His House from a screenplay he penned with Felicity Evans and Toby Venables; the film stars Sope Dirisu (Gangs of London), Wunmi Mosaku (Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them), and Matt Smith (The Crown).
