A Video Game Streamer Fights For His Life In Home Invasion Thriller INTO THE BLACK ABYSS: DEATHSTREAM
We all feel jealous of successful video game streamers who get to sit at home and make money from playing video games while the rest of us have to go out and work to make a living. Although the upcoming horror film Into the Black Abyss: Deathstream might make you reconsider streaming as a full-time profession. The film will focus on a hugely popular video game streamer named Zach, who gets more than he bargained for when masked psychos break into his home while he is in the middle of a stream. Forced to take drastic measures, Zach defends himself against the intruders using any means necessary, with his violent actions all being recorded for his millions of fans to enjoy.
If you’d like to help finance Into the Black Abyss: Deathstream, the crewmembers are now raising funds on Indiegogo in order to make the project a reality. The film will be directed by Daniel Mark Young, and it will star Matt Squance as Zach. It will also rely on practical effects, so we can expect some satisfyingly visceral kills.
A proof-of-concept trailer has also been produced, and it can be viewed below. Running for just over one hundred seconds, the proof-of-concept video gives us an indication of how the found footage style will look when presented in the form of a live stream, so we already have a good idea of how Into the Black Abyss: Deathstream will look and feel. An Indiegogo pitch video was also released, in which the director discusses his aims for the film and why he feels it will appeal to horror fans, and his passion for Into the Black Abyss: Deathstream is indisputable.
You have to admit, this project sounds like an interesting and unique idea. We are hoping the crowdfunding campaign will be a success so that we can enjoy Into the Black Abyss: Deathstream when it finally arrives on our screens.
