SCREAM 5 Captures the Magic of Wes Craven’s Original Slasher

Radio Silence’s Scream 5 will star David Arquette, Courteney Cox, and Neve Campbell along with newcomers like Kyle Gallner (Jennifer’s Body, Nightmare on Elm Street). And speaking of Gallner, today he talked a bit about the new film.
He tells Collider: “Yes. And I’m the first one to be like, ‘Eh, ya know …’ No, no, no. What I found really, really cool about the script is there’s a lot of that kind of magic that the first one had, which is really cool. I think the people who love the original are gonna really dig this. I have a lot of faith in Tyler because I love Ready or Not and I’ve known Tyler for many years, and I know it’s gonna be good, so I’m excited.”
Gallner joins the killer cast which includes franchise favorites such as Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Marley Shelton, along with series newcomers such as Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, and Jenna Ortega.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella, are executive producing with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak producing. Filming is underway on the flick in North Carolina as we speak.
