Dekker, Fred (The Monster Squad)
For years we’ve been waiting for the someone to finally get around to putting The Monster Squad on DVD and for once the wait was more than worth it.
With Lionsgate set to finally get a massive, two-disc edition of Monster Squad onto DVD for us (read the glowing review of it here), it was time I checked another name off my list of must-interview horror personalities and talk to Squad director Fred Dekker.
As you will hear from our chat the man is humble yet very proud of his hard-to-categorize movie, which most agree was years ahead of its time. Now it’s ready to be discovered by a whole new generation, and Fred couldn’t be happier!
