20th Annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival Happening October 6th-15th, 2020

The 20th annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival will take place October 6th-15th, 2020. Screamfest is the largest and longest running horror film festival in the United States. Considered the “Sundance of Horror,” the festival premieres and showcases new work from American and international independent horror filmmakers.
A launchpad for careers, many of the festival’s filmmakers have garnered distribution and representation, including Paranormal Activity, which was discovered and premiered at the festival in 2007.
Film entries are accepted in the categories of Best Feature, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, Special Effects and Musical Score. In addition, there are special categories for Best Animation, Best Short, Best Documentary and Best Student Film as well as a Screenplay competition.
