STRANGER THINGS 4 Isn’t The Final Season Confirm The Duffer Brothers
Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have just confirmed that Stranger Things 4 will not be the final season of the hit Netflix series.
Ross Duffer tells THR: “Season 4 won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
He adds: “Everyone’s excited to get back to work, but the priority is the safety of the cast and crew, and that will dictate when we go back.”
Matt says: “We’ve had a lot more time to work on the scripts. For the first time, we have all the scripts written and we’re able to look at it as a whole piece and make adjustments.”
While there has been no official word when Stranger Things 4 will resume filming, reports suggesting it could restart next month. Stay tuned.
For those that might need a refresher, Stranger Things 3 found the Hawkins gang dealing with Russians and really bad things at the Starcourt Mall in the summer of 1985. I consider it to be the best season yet and it looks like I’m not alone as it was nominated for five Emmys.
