Stephen King Recommends British Sci-Fi Series PARADOX on Hulu
Looking for something new to binge? Well, The Shining and Pet Sematary author Stephen King recommends a show called Paradox on Hulu.
King tweets: “The show I’ve had the most pure fun with this summer is PARADOX (HULU). Maybe a plot hole here and there, but the central situation is intriguing, the pace is relentless, and the cast is winning.”
Check out his tweet below.
While King doesn’t specifically state which show he’s talking about, one could assume he means the 2009 British science fiction police drama with Tamzin Outhwaite, Emun Elliott, Mark Bonnar, and Chiké Okonkwo.
Produced by Clerkenwell Films, the show is written by Lizzie Mickery and centers on a police team working with a scientist as they attempt to prevent disasters foretold by images being sent from the future.
The series aired on BBC One in five hour-long episodes. It received mostly negative reviews from critics, and there will be no second season.
