“Random Adventure” App Leads to Crime Scenes & Paranormal Activities?

So what the hell is Randonauting?

Randonauts use the Randonautica app to explore random locations in their general vicinity. It’s touted as a way to break out of your routine while getting more intimately acquainted with our surroundings. It works by generating random coordinates within a set radius. But there’s more.

Randonauts are encouraged to use “intentions” in an attempt to have a quantum effect on their environments. It’s a little weird, so I’ll let the video below do the explaining.

Now before you hop over to your local app store to download Randonautica, there’s something you should be aware of. Last week, a group of Randonauting teens in Washington located a suitcase filled with body parts. Their “adventure” was documented on Tik Tok where it has since gone viral.

According to Daily Dot:

TikTok user @ughhenry, one of the teens in the video, admitted that the incident as left him somewhat traumatized.

“Btw my laughter is the way I was trying to get through the situation,” he wrote in the comments. “The moment i got back home, I broke down. I still can’t sleep.”

The police are still investigating and haven’t publicized any additional information about the discovery of the remains or potential crime.

You can read about the event in detail, HERE.

Now, I know what you’re probably thinking, and I agree: This was most likely a coincidence. But here’s where things get really weird: Reports of Randonautica leading folks into potentially dangerous–or even supernatural situation, are becoming commonplace. Many include similar Tik Tok documentation.

These peeps caught something potentially ghostly:

This woman may have visited an alternate dimension:

And here’s another Randonaut whose adventure led to a crime scene:

this just happened in aurora colorado. please do not go randonauting, you never know what you’re going to come across. #randonautica

Still think it’s all just coincidence? Probably. There’s also the distinct possibility that these Randonauts are faking it all, seeking viral fame. Maybe the whole thing is a guerilla marketing campaign for an upcoming horror movie. It’s worth noting that Randonautica describes itself as “The world’s first quantumly generated Choose Your Own Adventure reality game.”

Still, others are genuinely concerned, hypothesizing that shady “dark web” figures could be orchestrating these and other occurrences.
