If you’ve never heard of The FP, believe us when we tell you the flick kind of defies description. Thankfully it’s coming to Blu-ray and DVD soon via Image Entertainment so you’ll be able to see it for yourselves.

From the Press Release
On June 19th, Image Entertainment invites you to join the stage with The FP, an hilariously insane comedy about a dreaded turf war… with dance! Mixing competitive dance video gaming and gang culture, the offbeat concept was a midnight movie sensation at film festivals around the world leading to its national theatrical release in over 20 markets. Created as a labor of love by a family of filmmakers, The FP is an utterly unique experience. From the producers of the billion dollar Paranormal Activity franchise and released under the prestigious Drafthouse Films label, The FP comes to Blu-ray for an SRP of $29.97 and DVD for an SRP of 27.97. The title will also be available via VOD and digital download. The FP Blu-ray™ and DVD also feature a special edition collector’s booklet with introductions by Rob Zombie (Halloween, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects) and Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine (Crank, Crank: High Voltage).

In a dystopian future, a relentless turf war rages. Two rival gangs feud for control of rural wasteland Frazier Park (‘The FP’) in the deadly arena of competitive dance-fight video game “Beat-Beat Revelation.” After hometown hero BTRO is slain on the dance platform by thug leader L Dubba E, his protégé younger brother JTRO (Jason Trost) goes into isolation, vowing never to duel again. One year later, The FP is in ruins, and JTRO must find the courage to return and restore order in a ruthless battle for revenge that can only leave one man dancing. Featuring narration by James Remar (The Warriors), THE FP is a fury of fierce footwork, triumphant montages and neon street wear.
