DEADPOOL Creator Says THE NEW MUTANTS Test Screening Was Major Success
Last week, director Josh Boone’s X-Men horror movie The New Mutants became available for digital pre-order on Amazon. Then it was removed with the plan to still unleash it in theaters. And today, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld says a recent test screening scored some high praise.
Liefeld said: “My friends saw a test screening … They loved it. Here’s what I know: all my friends who saw New Mutants in December of 2017 loved it. They loved it. They were describing it to me, they said a couple of special effects weren’t done, but they loved it. Then it got taken off the schedule, and then Disney happened, but I hear it’s great.”
