GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE Moved to March 2021
Thank You For Smoking director Jason Reitman’s new Ghostbusters flick starring Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd is said to be a real love letter to the franchise.
And today we hear via Deadline that Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been moved to March 5, 2021, from its original July 10 release date. One guess why this happened. Sigh.

Jason Reitman directs Ghostbusters 2020 from a screenplay he wrote along with Gil Kenan (Monster House) based on the original film written by Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ivan Reitman. Ivan Reitman produces and the film stars Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Logan Kim, Celeste O’Connor, Oliver Cooper, and Bokeem Woodbine.

It will also see the return of original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 cast including Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd as Raymond Stantz, Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore, Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett, and Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz.
Ghostbusters 2020 aka Ghostbusters 3 aka Ghostbusters: Afterlife is scheduled to be released in the United States via Sony Pictures Releasing on March 5, 2021.
